Junior Learn to Sail - RYA Level 1

26th - 27 May

An introduction to the parts of the boat and the basic principles of how to get a boat sailing

Required experience: None

Minimum duration: Run over 2 days (attendance on both days is required)

Minimum age: 8 Years

Content: Launching and recovery, sailing across the wind, turning around, steering and basic parts of the boat

Certificate issuing criteria: Able to sail across the wind, steer and understand the basic principles of sailing

Format: Afloat

Cost: £160 (non-members) £140 (Members)

All participants will be eligible for a 50% reduction on annual membership fees if you join within 30 days of completing the course

All Junior membership must have an accompanying Associate membership. The discount applies to both memberships
